Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL) has responded to Advanced Semiconductor Engineering's (ASE) latest offer for the company saying SPIL does not see any justification for ASE to take over SPIL. Such a hostile acquisition will bring no benefits to SPIL and could have a tremendous impact on order in the market, SPIL noted.
