Gigabyte Technology is expected to ship four million motherboards in the fourth quarter, lower than the 4.6 million units in the third quarter and profits from the motherboard business are also expected to drop slightly from a quarter ago because of inventory adjustments and clearance of old inventory, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
