Taiwan market: Asia Pacific Telecom to set up LoRaWAN for IoT, says paper

Mobile telecom carrier Asia Pacific Telecom will deploy 500 LoRaWAN (low-power long-range wide area network) hot spots in Taipei City, New Taipei City and Taoyuan City, northern Taiwan, for IoT (Internet of Things) applications in July and will add hot spots in other areas in Taiwan later in the third quarter of 2016, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
