The largest China-based LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Sanan Optoelectronics will place orders for 17 new-model MOCVD sets (one set is equivalent to two MOCVD sets producing 2-inch wafers) from US-based Vecco Instruments in the fourth quarter of 2016, with the equipment to be installed in 2017, according to industry sources.
