Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) approved 1,625 foreign direct investment projects (except from China) with a total value of US$5.503 billion in January-June 2016, respectively decreasing 6.66% and increasing 176.76% on year, according to MOEA statistics released on July 20.
