Osram to sell lamp business unit to China-based consortium

Germany-based Osram has announced it has decided to sell its lamp business unit, Ledvance (LED + Advance), to a China-based consortium consisting of strategic investor IDG Capital Partners, LED packaging service provide MLS and Yiwu State-owned Assets Operation Center.
