Holtek 2Q16 profits rise 20% sequentially

Microcontroller (MCU) supplier Holtek Semiconductor has reported net profits of NT$201 million (US$6.25 million) for the second quarter of 2016, up 20.2% sequentially. EPS for the quarter reached NT$0.89.
