With virtual reality (VR) becoming a hot topic in the IT industry, China-based white-box players have been aggressively releasing inexpensive head-worn VR devices and home-care robots, and even formed a supply chain ecosystem specifically for VR products. Currently, the retail channel in Shenzhen is filled with related products. However, sources from the upstream supply chain have pointed out that white-box VR devices have quality issues which are likely to affect sales.
