TFT-LCD panel maker AU Optronics (AUO) saw operations rebound in March mainly due to emerging demand arising from the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil and the early May holiday sales period in the China market. AUO's business in the second quarter will significantly increase on quarter, chairman and CEO Paul Peng said at an April 28 investors conference.
