Taiwan market: Smartphones sales dip in March; Samsung outperforms Apple in volume sales

Sales of handsets, mostly smartphones, totaled 672,000 units in the Taiwan market in March, a decline of 37,000 units from the previous month and 21,000 units from a year earlier period, according to a Chinese-language sogi.com report, citing data compiled by local retail channels.
