Backlight unit (BLU) maker Radiant Opto-Electronics, viewing that OLED panels are seeing increasing use in smartphones, will use its technology to compete for orders from smartphone vendors other than Apple and enhance management to minimize any negative impact, company chairman PJ Wang said at an April 27 investors conference.
