China February mobile phone user base grows to 1.284 billion, says MIIT

There were 1.284 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of February 2016, increasing 0.29% on month but decreasing 0.44% on year, and 276.92 million (21.57%) of them were 3G users, 505.20 million (39.35%) 4G users and 999.87 million (77.89%) mobile Internet-access users, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
