Japan-based LED maker Nichia, while forecasting 5% on-year growth in 2016 global LED production value, aims to increase its revenues by 11.9% from JPY295 billion in 2015 to JPY330 billion (US$2.93 billion) in 2016 due to the high performance and differentiation, according to company chief legal and IP officer Katsuyuki Akutagawa.
