Some Taiwan-based solar cell makers, especially those heavily relying on orders released by China-based module makers, have seen decreasing orders from China and thus have lowered quotes for cells with an energy conversion rate of 17.8% from US$0.335/W in March to US$0.32/W or below for April, according to industry sources.
