Inventec and Advantech on March 22 jointly announced the establishment of a joint venture, AIMobile, for R&D, production and marketing of industrial wireless mobile devices for retail, automotive and medical applications at an initial paid-in capital of NT$1 billion (US$30.3 million). Inventec will hold a 55% stake and Advantech 45%.
