Seeing Intel and Microsoft's new platforms have been unable to boost demand for notebooks, ODMs are shifting their focuses to non-notebook product lines especially servers to maintain their gross margin performances in 2016; however, this along with Intel's Rack Scale Architecture (RSA), is expected to heat up server market competition, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
