China December mobile phone user base grows to 1.306 billion, says MIIT

There were 1.306 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of December 2015, growing 0.16% on month and 1.53% on year, and 399.10 million (30.57%) of them were 3G users, 386.23 million (29.58%) were 4G users and 964.47 million (73.86%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to statistics published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
