Taiwan market: Acer unveils Swift-series ultra-thin notebooks

Acer on November 1 unveiled four Swift-series ultra-thin notebooks for launch in the Taiwan market, with the 14-inch Swift 1 for sale at a recommended retail price of NT$18,900 (US$598), 14-inch Swift 3 at NT$31,900, 14-inch Swift 5 at NT$38,900 for Core i5 edition and NT$42,900 for Core i7 edition, and 13.3-inch Swift 7 at NT$42,900, according to the company.
