Despite Taiwan's weakening PC sales, Acer Taiwan still managed to achieve increased desktop sales in the country, boosting its share of the Taiwan desktop market from 25% previously to 30% currently and the percentage is expected to rise further to 35% in 2017. The growth in 2016 will partly be benefited by New Taipei City government procurement orders for desktops.
