Open-bid competition for 2,500-2,600MHz frequency bands available for 4G mobile communications on November 30 resulted in total bidding prices of NT$25.275 billion (US$778 million), 75.52% in excess of the total floor price of NT$14.40 billion, according to the National Communications Commission (NCC).
