AOET starts shipping 8-megapixel smartphone lens modules, says report

Ability Opto-Electronics Technology (AOET) has developed 8-megapixel compact lens modules for use in smartphones and begun small-volume shipments to Europe-based vendors, with shipments expected to significantly increase beginning from first-quarter 2015, according to Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
