SAS, Cathay Life Insurance to set up joint venture to invest in PV power generation in Taiwan, says report

Solar-grade crystalline silicon wafer maker Sino-American Silicon Products (SAS) and Cathay Life Insurance will establish a joint venture specifically to invest in PV power-generating stations in Taiwan. The joint venture will be capitalized at NT$3.5 billion (US$111.6 million), according to Taiwan's Central News Agency (CNA).
