Headset maker Merry 3Q16 earnings higher than expected

Headset maker Merry Electronics saw its net profits increase 187% on quarter and 259% on year to NT$916 million (US$28.91 million) in the third quarter of 2016. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$5.01 for the quarter, which was higher than expected.
