The Tokyo District Court has judged that Tachibana Eletech and E&E Japan infringed on Nichia's Japan patent No. 2780618 for blue-light LED products, coded 1254 and 7344, they imported and sold in the Japan market and therefore should indemnify Nichia, according to Nichia.
