Solar firms cooperate to develop PERC mono-like cells

Some system, wafer and cell makers from the US, Taiwan and China have been working together to develop PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell) mono-like solar cells carrying significantly lower production cost than that for PERC monocrystalline solar cells, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
