Epson estimates US$1 billion market for various printing technologies in 2015

The printer market, consisting of inkjet printers in the residential and commercial segments, is expected to reach 70 million in shipments while laser printer shipments are estimated to reach around 40 million globally, according to sources at Seiko Epson.
