HP-Foxconn server joint venture starts competing for data center orders

The server joint venture set up by Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Foxconn Electronics has begun to exercise its muscle to solicit data-center server orders from Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon, a trend which will intensify competition in the server segment in 2015, according to industry sources.
