FocalTech 3Q14 profits slip

Touchscreen controller IC vendor FocalTech Systems saw its net profits decline 50.7% sequentially to NT$153 million (US$5 million) in the third quarter of 2014. Higher inventories discouraged customers from placing orders during the quarter, the company said.
