Taiwan president pledges support for biomedicine industry

Taiwan president Tsai Ing-wen has pledged to develop the biomedical sector into the most competitive next-generation industry of the country to create more quality jobs for young talent while also urging players in the sector to challenge the next peak in the development of new pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and smart medicine.
