China 2017 software revenues estimated at CNY5.504 trillion

China's software industry consisting of 35,774 companies generated revenues totaling CNY5.504 trillion (US$814.02 billion) in 2017, growing 13.9% on year, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
