Taiwan had 472,000 jobless citizens in July 2016, equivalent to an unemployment rate of 4.02% which rose 0.10pp on month and 0.2pp on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on August 22.
