ASMedia expects operations to peak in 4Q16

USB 3.0 chip controller design house ASMedia Technology expects operations to peak in the fourth quarter of 2016 as Intel has launched Kaby Lake-architecture processors and AMD will soon launch its Zen architecture, according to the company. ASMedia posted consolidated revenues of NT$792 million (US$24.6 million), gross margin 49.4%, net profit NT$115 million and net EPS NT$2.03 for the first half of 2016.
