While there was tight global supply of solar wafers in fourth-quarter 2015 and first-quarter 2016, global demand is expected to decrease and thus prices will slip in the second half of 2016, according to China-based solar wafer maker GCL-Poly Energy Holdings CEO Zhu Zhanjun at SNEC PV Power Expo taking place in Shanghai during May 23-26.
