Chunghwa Telecom aims to save 10% of 2014 capex budget

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) has set aside a capex budget of NT$40.1 billion (US$1.32 billion) for 2014 but has been making efforts to control actual expenditures to 90% of the budget through more cost-effective spending, company chairman Rick Tsai said at an October 29 investors conference.
