IBM Conquers Wafer-Scale Graphene

IBM has found a way to vastly reduce the costs of gallium nitride (GaN) wafers by growing them on a reusable wafer-scale layer of single-crystal graphene instead of expensive ($3,000) silicon carbide (SiC) wafers.
