China December mobile communication user base grows to 1.322 billion, says MIIT

There were 1.322 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of December 2016, increasing 0.17% on month and 1.24% on year, of which 170.81 million (12.92%) of which were 3G users, 769.95 million (58.24%) were 4G users and 1.094 billion (82.75%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to statistics published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
