Crystalline silicon solar cell maker Tainergy Tech will expand total annual production capacity for PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell) monocrystalline silicon solar cells to 40% of its total annual solar cell capacity at the end of 2017 through upgrading part of its solar cell production capacity in Vietnam, according to Tainergy Tech's parent company Kenmec Mechanical Engineering which produces automation equipment.
