Delta, Furukawa land heat-pipe orders from LG, say Taiwan makers

Following Samsung Electronics' adoption of heat-pipes for its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7, Korea-based LG Electronics reportedly is also planning to adopt heat-pipes for smartphones to be launched in 2017. LG has released orders to Taiwan-based Delta Electronics and Japan-based Furukawa Electric, with shipments to begin in January 2017, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
