Specialty IC foundry Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) saw its wafer shipments decline 15% sequentially in the third quarter eroding profitability during the quarter. Looking forward, the company expects to post a revenue decrease of up to 3.7% or an up to 2% increase sequentially in the fourth quarter.
