iPhone 6 models strengthen growth in HD and Full HD smartphone displays, says DisplaySearch

Beginning in the second quarter of 2014, display panel makers significantly reduced prices for high-definition (HD, 720 by 1280) and Full High-Definition (FHD, 1080 by 1920) in-cell and on-cell modules, which coupled with the release of iPhone 6, has prompted the increased adoption of HD and FHD smartphone displays, according to DisplaySearch.
