Getac expects ruggedized mobile device shipments to grow 15%

Ruggedized mobile computing solution provider Getac Technology has obtained orders for ruggedized notebooks and tablets from the US Army, US-based Pacific Gas and Electricity Company (PG&E) and Germany-based automobile maker BMW, with shipments beginning in the fourth quarter of 2014, according to company chairman James Hwang.
