China has 1.277 billion mobile phone users in October, says MIIT

There were 1.277 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of October 2014, growing 0.32% on month and 5.01% on year. Of the subscribers, 481.58 million (37.72%) were 3G users and 874.13 million (68.47%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
