Taiwan solar cell makers can bear up to 15% US anti-dumping tax

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has started an anti-dumping investigation of China- and Taiwan-based solar players and is expected to announce preliminary anti-dumping tariffs in June. Taiwan-based solar cell makers can tolerate tariffs up to 15% before seeing a negative impact on exports to the US, industry sources cited Taiwan-based Motech Industries as indicating.
