Insyde sees large drop in 2013 pre-tax profit due to shrinking global notebook demand

Taiwan-based UEFI BIOS solution developer Insyde Software posted pre-tax profit of NT$40.3 million (US$1.35 million) for 2013, slipping on year by 75.64% due to decreased global notebook demand, company chairman and CEO Jeremy Wang said at a February 20 investors conference.
