Sensor Network on Board of ISS Secures Air Quality

Environmental conditions such as temperature, atmospheric pressure, and air composition are vital for the life at the International Space Station (ISS). To collect these data at high accuracy and reliability, the German aerospace research centre DLR and Airbus Defence & Space developed and installed the Wise-Net wireless sensor network at the ISS; the measurement campaign was more successful than expected.
