Getac chairman expects over 15% on-year growth in rugged PC shipments in 2015

Rugged PC vendor Getac Technology, an affiliate of the Mitac Group, is expected to achieve on-year shipment growth of at least 15% in 2015, higher than the rugged PC market's average growth of 5-10%. The company recently started shipping products to new clients and expects rugged PC products to contribute over 50% of its revenues in 2015, up from about 40% in 2014, according to company chairman James Hwang.
