Panel pricing showing downward trends in March, says DisplaySearch

Due to weak demand, average prices for monitor panels have continued to decline in March. Given that there are still inventories, it remains challenging to sell out panels and panel makers are offering many special incentives and deals. As a result, pricing for 21.5-inch and above panels dropped US$1. Demand will remain weak in the second quarter, so more capacity will be released from these fabs and panel prices will trend downward, according to findings from DisplaySearch.
