China February mobile phone user base reaches 1.289 billion, says MIIT

There were 1.289 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of February 2015, slipping by 0.08% on month but growing by 4.01% on year, and 485.51 million (37.65%) of them were 3G users and 883.40 million (68.51%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
