LG to announce new smartphone with in-house AP, says report

LG Electronics reportedly will release a 5.9-inch smartphone using its in-house developed application processor (AP) in October at the earliest or by the end of 2014 at the latest, according to a Korean-language Money Today report citing sources from Korea's IT industry.
