TSMC releases networking processors based on 16nm FinFET

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced the successful production of ARM-based networking processors using its advanced 16nm FinFET foundry technology through collaboration with China-based IC design house HiSilicon Technologies, its first 16nm FinFET client, and indicated that the processor is packaged based on 2.5D CoWoS technology.
